Fees & Rebates — Psychology in Dee Why & Telehealth Australia-wide

I believe in being transparent about fees and rebate options so you know exactly what to expect.

Standard session fees

• Individual 50–60 minute session: $210

Fees are payable on the day of your appointment by card or bank transfer.

​

Medicare rebates

With a GP referral and a Mental Health Care Plan under the Better Access initiative, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session (as at 2025). This reduces your out-of-pocket cost to around $111.05 per session (standard fee).

​

If you have a GP Complex Condition Management plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $61.80 per session. Your GP can advise if this applies to your circumstances.

Please note: gap payments apply and rebates are set by Medicare and may change.

Private health rebates

If you have private health insurance with psychology extras, you may be able to claim a rebate depending on your level of cover. Please check with your health fund. You cannot claim both Medicare and private health for the same session.

​

Telehealth rebates

Medicare rebates apply equally to Telehealth sessions (video or phone), provided you have a valid GP referral and plan in place.

 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee. This ensures appointment availability for others who may be waiting.

• Telehealth: available anywhere in Australia
